Weight Distributing Hitch Recommendation for 2014 Toyota Sienna Towing Pop Up
Question:
Hi, I’m going to be towing a pop-up camper with my Toyota Sienna. The tongue weight for the camper is 170lbs unloaded.. My Sienna is low in the back and has an after market receiver which makes it even lower. It’s only about 4 inches off the ground and lower if we have people and/or the back of the van loaded. I would like to get a weight distributer to help the weight to be distributed, but I’m not sure which one I should buy.

A weight distribution system will help with the sag you have at the rear of your 2014 Toyota Sienna when towing. As long as you have a hitch installed on your vehicle like the Draw Tite part # 76112 which is rated for WD use you'd be set.
Since you have minimal ground clearance you'll want to go with a trunnion bar weight distribution system since they have superior ground clearance over the round bar setups. For that the Fastway e2 kit part # FA92-00-0450 would be a great option as it has a tongue weight range of up to 450 lbs. Then for a 2 inch hitch ball you'd want the part # 40038. To install the ball you'll need a thin-walled socket like the # EQ70-00-4800.
