The wrench flats on hitch ball # 63847 measure 1.82 inches from one to the other which is a hair over 1-13/16 inches.
The nut from flat to flat is 1.45 inches (slightly more than 1-7/16 inches) or from point to point 1.67 inches (slightly less than 1-11/16 inches).
