Replacement Parts for Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar and Differences of the Sterling All-Terrain

Question:

I have a roadmaster Sterling tow bar I’ve been using to tow my 2000 Jeep Wrangler tj now for 17 years. Parts are starting to fall out the cylinders and needs a full repair. Is there a full repair kit for everything but the main casing? Is there a significant change with new tow bars of the same model?

I've attached a link that takes you to all of the repair parts we have for the Roadmaster Sterling, including the repair kit # RM-910003-30.

The Sterling All-Terrain, part # RM-576, isn't that much different than the original. It functions in the same way although they did improve the non-binding feature for the All-Terrain. They also replaced some parts in the arms with stainless steel as opposed to aluminum and strengthened the safety cables which gives the new version a higher 8,000 pound weight capacity over the orignal 6,000 pounds.
