Can Ball Mount # C45554 be Flipped into Drop Position

hi etrailer, i purchased this Item # C45554. It turned out to be too low for my CR-V. So im think about turning it upside down and detach- re-mount the ball upside down as well. Is it possible and also affecting anything? Thank you

You'd have no problem removing the ball of the Curt Ball Mount # C45554 flipping the ball mount upside down and then reinstalling the hitch ball.
