Can Trailer Ball on Curt C45554 Ball Mount Be Installed in Rise Position

Question:

I purchased the C45554 primarily because it showed on the page of my hitch mount I ordered but without thinking about the needed ball height. For my 2018 Honda CRV I need to raise the ball from the hitch mount not . But, of course, this product comes with the ball in the drop position. I assume I can reverse the ball to the other side to achieve the 2” rise. Is this a correct assumption? My question is, in moving the ball, to what torque must it be tightened when replacing on the other side? Thanks

The 2 inch trailer ball on the Curt # C45554 can indeed be removed and swapped so it's in the rise position. The ball will need to be tightened to 250 foot lbs.
