5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Rated for 18,000 Pounds or more for 2017 Ram 2500 Short Bed w/Factory Pucks
Question:
I am new to towing a fifth wheel. I know i need a hitch that is rated to tow 18,ooo. my truck is a 2017 ram diesel with a 6 and a half short bed. my truck has the trailer package on it with the holes cut in the bed and electrical plug installed.thank you for your advice.

For your 2017 Ram 2500 short bed I recommend the B&W Companion # BWRVK3670. This hitch will fit directly in the factory puck system in your truck bed so you won't have to use any adapters. The hitch is a slider with 12 inches of travel for turning clearance. It is rated for 20,000 pounds gross trailer weight so it can handle an 18,000 pound trailer, no problem. Since you already have the trailer connector the hitch is the only thing you will need! I have linked a video review of this hitch for you.
