Recommended Trailer Roof Vent for 2004 GMC Savanna Passenger Van

Hi, I want to purchase and install a roof vent fan on my 2004 GMC Savanna passenger van. The vehicle does have a ribbed roof and I have removed the interior roof decorative panel. So I need a unit that is designed for this challenging roof. If you can find something I would prefer a quite but effective model. Thanks

I assume you want to be able to use the fan while traveling down the road, so I recommend the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Manual Lift - 4 Speed - White # MA00-05301K. For the installation, I recommend the Installation Kit # 344270KITW which includes sealant and screws.

The biggest challend is that you mentioned a ribbed roof and the vents are not made with that ribbed roof being considered. You will most likely want to account for that in how you cut the hole to leave a slightly raised lip around the outside edge for a better seal.

Thanks for the pictures of your roof vent lid Marty! Based on that the correct replacement is the Ventline part #BVD0449-A01 that you referenced if you wanted white or the part #BVD0449-A03 for the same smoke color you have now.
