We have a 95 Bri-mar single axle dump trailer,it has a Atwood #80072 coupler with a 5,000 # rateing. Will the CA-5210-B with the 8,000# rateing fit this type of trailer?

Yes, the A-Frame Trailer Coupler part # CA-5210-B will replace the Atwood coupler you have and work well. Basically all A-frame couplers like this are made to be universal in the way they install so this coupler would fit and work well.
