Recommended 5th Wheel To Gooseneck Base Rails Adapter For 2017 Ford F-250
Question:
I had the Curt X5 adapter for my old pickup and it worked great. I installed a turnover ball in my new pickup and have found that the adapter no longer works due to the new ridges in the box shank does go all the way in of the pickup. Is there anything I can buy that will work with the 2017 Ford Superduty?

I reached out to my contact at Curt and they advised me that the new 2017 Ford F-250 Super duty has shallow gooseneck spacing because of the new aluminum bed, as a result the # 16310 will not work.
However when I reached out to my contact at Demco, they confirmed that the Demco 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitches # DM6140 will fit. This product has an adjustment bolt to lock the ball in place. On this product where the pin goes through you are able to adjust the height. This product is a gooseneck to fifth wheel adapter.
