Can CE Smith Offset Spare Trailer Tire Carrier Mount Vertically on 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" Trailer Frame?
Question:
Can this be mounted on an aluminum square tube? I have an all aluminum 6x12 landscape trailer and I’d rather have the spare mounted toward the back on the upper frame rail which is a 1.5x1.5 inch vertical aluminum tube, hope it will work, thanks! P.s. it will be one of the vertical tubes between the fender and the gate

The CE Smith Offset Spare Trailer Tire Carrier # CE27310G can be mounted on trailer frames which are 1" to 3-1/2" wide x up to 4" tall, so it will work for your 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" frame tube.
Additionally, it can be mounted vertically so long as the panels on your trailer are pliable enough that they allow the carrier's U-bolots to fit around the tubes you referenced.
