Installing Roadmaster 2nd Motorhome Monitor/Alarm Kit on Entegra Aspire RV
Question:
I had the RM-98850 installed on my gasser 2017 Bounder were the light was put into the dash. I also have the invisibrake installed in the toad. I am going to purchase an Entregra Aspire in a few days so I will need a visible light on it, to know when the brakes on the toad are activated. Is there a better/different way to hook this light upon a Spartan K2 ? is there already some indicator built in that I could use if I had the correct adaptor and thus, not have to cut into the dash to install that light? Please let me know of any/all part numbers that I would need to make this possible. Thank you.

Installing the Roadmaster 2nd Motorhome Monitor/Alarm Kit # RM-98850 referenced in your question on the Entegra Aspire will require the same process you took for your 2017 Bounder RV. To install the unit, you will need to locate the brake switch wire beneath the brake pedal in the RV that receives power only when pressing on the brake pedal. There may be a brake controller port beneath the dash of the Spartan chassis, but you will still need to tap into the correct wire coming from the back of the port for installation.
I have attached an installation video on the Freightliner chassis, but the process should be very similar for you. When installing the light itself, you will need to drill into the dash (at a suitable location). There is not a specific adapter or product that would allow for a different route.
