Best Brake Controller for a 2014 Fleetwood Bounder Motorhome
Question:
I have a 2014 Fleetwood bounder and I need a brake controller. to use with my trailer and a dingy hauler. I do not know if it is prewired but I do have a reese tow hitch and a 7 terminal circular plug in the rear of the vehicle. it does have a grey plug to the right of the break release. What controlller should I use and what installation kit.

Your 2014 Fleetwood Bounder should be on a Ford F-53 chassis. If you found the gray plug next to the brake release (see attached photo) then this means that you should just be able to use a plug-in adapter to easily install your brake controller.
Out of all of our brake controllers I recommend going with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is a proportional brake controller that will apply the brakes on your trailer or hauler at the same time and with the same intensity as the brakes in your Fleetwood Bounder. The best feature about this brake controller is the LCD screen that makes operation and diagnosing any problems much easier than an older controller that only uses codes.
To install this in your motorhome you simply need the Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3035-P which plugs into both the brake controller and that gray plug that you found.
I have attached some review videos for you to check out for both products.
