What Hitch Ball Does Blue Ox Weight Distribution System Use?

Question:

Do you have an item similar to #RP26003 that fits with #RP54980 ? I want to put a sway friction control bar on the side of the weight distribution hitch coz my trailer weighs 9000 lbs plus.

For the weight distribution hitches from Blue Ox that have a gross towing weight of 20,000 lbs, # BXW2000 and # BXW2003 you only need a hitch ball with either a 1" or 1-1/4" diameter shank.

For a 2" hitch ball you can use # 63845 and for a 2-5/16" hitch ball you can use # 63847. To put it on the system, you only need to slide the ball into the hitch head and tighten it. If you go to 5:45 of the linked video review you can see exactly how to install the hitch ball.

What wireless rear view camera is good? I have a 35 foot trailer and i need a wireless backup camera. I've tried the RVS camera Rear View Safety Wireless Hitch Camera and it doesnt transmit video at 30 feet.

For a wireless rearview camera I recommend the Rampage Wireless Backup Camera # RA7710, which has a 300' transmission distance and syncs with your smartphone or tablet. It is portable so you can place it wherever is convenient for you and creates a Wi-Fi hotspot when turned on so you do not even need cell service to use it. I've added a link to a video review of this camera for you to check out.

The Reese Weight Distribution Head and Shank # RP54980 does not need a sway control bracket such as # RP26003, as it has a mounting hole on the side for a friction sway control such as # 83660.
