Will There be any Issues if Accidently Over Torque Hitch Mounting Bolts
Question:
Hi, I recently installed hitch 76112 on my 2017 sienna draw tite. Ive torqued all my bolts spec is 75 ft lbs, but later noticed that my torque wrench was actually set to 85 ft lbs. Questions: - Is it ok to leave all bolts torqued 10 ft lbs more than spec? - do i need to re-torque these bolts in the future? any chance of these bolts going loose after vehicle movements and flexing?

Over torqueing the mounting bolts on your Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 76112, may stress the mounting bolts to the limits and could cause a failure of the hitch.
I recommend replacing the mounting bolts with # RHK. The # RHK is a replacement hardware kit for your hitch. At the product page of this part it will ask you to input your trailer hitch number and the hitch manufacturer.
Once reinstalled, make sure to torque to the recommended specs that are listed in the hitch installation instructions.
