Brake Assembly Recommendation for Dexter Trailer Hubs Marked 8-219
Question:
I need some help identifying which electric trailer brakes I need? My axle tag says 4495 lbs, it has Dexter drum brakes that have max bore 12 09: 8-219 stamped on it. It is an 8 lug hub.

Since your Dexter hubs are marked 8-219 that means you have the hub part # 8-219-4UC3-EZ installed and for a replacement brake assembly you'd need the kit part # AKEBRK-7-SA which is a pair of assemblies for both the right and left side of your trailer axle which are self-adjusting.
