Question:

Hi, I have a triple axle trailer: - 7800lb boat fully loaded - 6 Tiedown 10inch disc brakes 1000PSI max I want to install electric over hydraulic brakes however, the only actuators I can find are 1600 PSI capacity, or 1000 PSI but for drum brakes only. Any recommendations what to do?

The only difference between a disc brake actuator and a drum brake actuator is the psi. Generally disc brakes require about 1,500 to 1,600 psi. Since your disc brakes have a maximum psi of 1,000 psi your solution is to use a drum brake actuator. I recommend the HydraStar, part # HBA-10.

Since the actuators are identical otherwise this will work just fine for you.
