The Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler, part # AM3100 can be used with a 35 foot trailer like your Cherokee trailer. Part # AM3100 is not recommended for trailers that are longer than 38 feet as our representative at Anderson has informed us in the past.

You will want to take a measurement to make sure this coupler will work with your truck and trailer. You will want to back your truck up under your trailer as if you were going to hookup, making sure the truck and trailer are level. Measure from the pin plate, which is the bottom of the pin box to the top of the hitch ball in the truck bed. If this measurement is between 11-3/4 inches and 14-3/4 inches, you will be able to use the # AM3100.

You should have no issues with the Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler, part # AM3100.
