Can Lippert Correct Track be Used with Dexter E-Z Flex Equalizers
Question:
My 2017 Forrest River Wild Cat 5th wheel came with the Dexter E-Z Flex Equalizer installed from the factory. I want to install the Correct Track system mainly to gain the additional 2inch of ride height, but also to give me the ability to align the axles as well. I read that the Correct Track system is not compatible with the E-Z Flex equalizers, but Im not sure why. I still want to have a cushioning style tandem axle equalizer and wondering which one would work the best with the correct track system? Do any of these equalizers increase ride height, which would be a plus in my situation, since my current towing combination results in an approximately 4inch nose high towing profile. FYI, my RVs axles are already below the leaf springs, so the so-called axle flip option is out and Im already at the minimum clearance between the my tow vehicle and the 5th wheel, so theres no room for adjustment on this end. Im in the process of switching out my 15inch wheels and tires for 16inch versions, but this will only give me about 1-1/4inch gain in ride height, so if I can gain some additional ride height with the equalizer swap and with the addition of the Correct Track system that will get me a lot closer to level towing condition. FYI, I also plan to go with the Lippert Never Fail bushings during this upgrade process. Thanks in advance for your help.

We do have a note on this issue: Will not work with E-Z Flex suspension systems due to the length of the wet step bolts. Assuming you could obtain wet bolts that are long enough you could use Correct Track with the E-Z Flex suspension system.
Changing just the equalizers will not give you additional height. You would also need taller hangers for the other ends of the leaf springs to increase height. I have included a link to our selection of hangers.
