How to Determine if Torflex Lift Kit part # K71-723-01 Would Fit Trailer

I have a 1998 Jayco Heritage Cascade 1203. The ride height is quite low. It has a torflex axel. I can’t find an ID tag only the manufacturer tag. I will include pictures that may help. Will the single axel 2 5/8 loft kit work for this set up?

If the distance between the bolt hole centers on your Torflex axle is 7-3/4 inches then you have the #9 Torflex axle and the lift kit part # K71-723-01 would fit and work well.

If you have a different dimension there let me know and I'll see what else we may have that could fit.

You can check the plate near the coupler of the trailer that has the VIN and GVWR rating info and the axles should be listed there. Or you can check the axles themselves and they are typically labelled with brand info etc. The Torflex Lift Kit…

That does appear to be a Dexter #9 Torflex axle. For the #9 you can use lift kit #K71-723-01!

Yes, for your side-mounted Torflex axles the Torflex Lift Kit #K71-723-01 is the correct item. You will need two of these as you noted. These are not compatible with top-mounted torsion axles.

Can you check the torsion axle for a brand and capacity? If you have a Dexter Torflex with a 2,000 lb capacity like I believe you have then you'd want the part #K71-723-01 which is a Torflex lift kit for number 9 Torflex axles with a 2k capacity.…

I forwarded the info you sent to Dexter and they were able to determine that your 2005 Jayco Jay Series 1006 pop up has Dexter #9 Torflex axles so for a lift kit you'd want the part #K71-723-01. This will give you a lift of 2-5/8 inches.
