Recommended Brake Controller Wiring for 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Without Tow Package
Question:
2015 jeep cherokee latitude trailer controller connector. I went to the area your pictures shown and the connector is no where in sight, any other tips you could suggest? Update--we found the hitch was dealer installed and not factory. So it does not have a factory controller harness. We will be hard wiring one. Thanks.

It sounds like you simply need the wiring an a brake controller for your 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. For a brake controller, I recommend the Prodigy P3 # 90195 which is a proportional controller that will apply your trailer brakes at the same time and with the same intensity as you hit the brake pedal in your Jeep. This is easy to use with the LCD screen and presets.
For your wiring, I recommend you start with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118605 which connects to the factory harness behind your tail lights. It pulls power from your battery directly to protect your system. I've attached a video of this install as well as an article to assist.
Next you will need the Brake Controller Wiring Kit # ETBC7. This will give you the 7-way wiring connection that will connect to your 4-way and give you the wiring, connections, and circuit breakers needed to finish your 7-way wiring. I've attached a video and article to assist with this as well. It is an easy installation to give you a fully functional 7-way trailer connection.
