Replacement Keel Roller for Rollers with Yates 10000 Printed On Them

Question:

Hi, I am a frequent etrailer.com customer - love the website and the great service! Am looking to replace some keel rollers on my boat trailer. It has 4 Yates rollers, that all seem to be about the same size, and are marked as Yates 10000 - but they also have another code across the roller from the 10000 - specifically, 5Z, 2Z, 7Z and 11Z. Any idea what these Z codes mean? The width seems to vary minimally 9 1/4” to 9 1/2”. Would the part #YR10000 replace all 4 of these rollers? Thanks for any help you can offer.

First, thank you very much for your repeat business and kind words.

The Yates Keel Roller # YR10000 referenced in your question is exactly what you need to replace the rollers on your boat trailer. I actually went out to our warehouse to take a look at our stock of these models, and found that each unit does feature the "Yates 10000" marking, along with a "Z" number that varied between each roller. I was also able to find each of the "Z" numbers you referenced within our stock. These appear to be a simple code used at the factory, but it does not indicate different model numbers. I also measured a few of them and found them each to be around 9-1/4 inches in length, with slight variations like you also discovered. They are designed to fit a 5/8 inch diameter shaft.

I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
