Will Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel With Offset Item # AM20504 Work With 1979 Ford F-150
Question:
I know that you cannot recommend this wheel for a vehicle but will this wheel Item # AM20504 fit on a 1979 Ford F-150, custom super cab pickup? Its a 2 wheel drive truck with a stock 5 bolt pattern wheel. I like these wheels and would like to buy them for the above mentioned truck.

We do not carry vehicle rims but we are aware that many people use trailer wheels like our Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel, Item # AM20504, for vehicles. The Dexstar does have a conventional design which was used by automobiles several years ago. It has a positive offset (+0.5) which puts the wheel's position closer to the frame. Its rim has a 15 inch diameter and is 6 inches wide. It has a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern and a capacity of 1,820-lbs.
If the dimensions and capacities of the Dexstar wheel match your 1979 Ford F-150 then they could "fit" but we do not recommend them for this purpose.
