Question:

I want a steering stabilizer for my RV, but I want a good to best available because safety first. Now, being a 70 yrs old female I have no idea where to start or what information you need to it for me. Can you help? The Blue Ox stabilizer boasts, does it live up to them? Will it work/fit my rig? Your Forest River FR3 is built on a Ford F53 chassis and has a V10 engine and 18,000 lb GVWR.

For this we have the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets for Class A Motor Homes # RM-RBK22-RSSA. This stabilizer uses a tempered steel spring to keep the steering in line. When compressed, it will extend back to neutral, and when extended it will retract back to neutral. This reduces road fatigue by making it easier to steer. It helps with crosswinds, uneven pavement, rut tracking, road edging, or even a tire blowout so you can easily maintain control.

Blue Ox has discontinued their stabilizer, so even though it was a great product, it won't be available or supported soon, so I recommend going with the Roadmaster system.
