It sounds like you are referring to a coupler latch lock that is used to lock the latching mechanism of the coupler onto the hitch ball. If this is the case then you would want to use a 1/4" diameter pin like part # e98886. I have attached a photo of where this pin will need to be installed on the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer part # Y08107 for you as well.
