Is Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer Suited for Off-Road Use

Question:

I am wondering about using after market wheels, tires and shocks to get more off-road capability? Any guidance on what would be compatible? I attached a photo of a Sportsrig trailer which uses such gear.

The Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer # Y08129 is pretty well setup for off-road situations like you mentioned. It comes with shocks and decently aggressive tread tires so that it would handle moderate off-road scenarios like what most find themselves in on fishing and camping trips. I attached a picture of it from Yakima used at a pretty rocky beach for example. That said there aren't any heavier duty shocks or tires available for it. I can't attach the picture you submitted for the SportrRig trailer you mentioned since it looks like one of their copyrighted pictures but the tires on the trailer in the picture aren't as off-road friendly as the Yakima.

I attached a review video for the Double Decker for you to check out as well.
