Question:
Hi I have a Toyota Sequoia 2015 Limited with a tow package. What electric brake controller do you recommend. Is it something easy for me to install? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
Trailer brake controller installation in your 2015 Toyota Sequoia Limited with the tow package will be a simple process. Vehicles that have the tow package include a 7-way trailer connector as well as a connection point under the dash for easy plug-in installation of a brake controller such as the Prodigy P2 # 90885.
In this case all you need is the controller and the matching installation harness # 3040-P. The harness plugs in between the back of the P2 and the connection point under the dash. An installation video for a similar Toyota vehicle is linked for you.
If you do not have a factory 7-way you can still install the controller via hardwiring it. For that install you do not need part # 3040-P but instead parts # ETBC7 and # 119250KIT.
