5th Wheel and Gooseneck Hitch Combo for a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 3500
Question:
Researching on the internet can be taxing and I am done. I presently own a 2008 Chevy Silverado 3500HD and I own an Artic Fox 10.5 slip in Camper that I will be keeping. My question is I am going to use an Anderson Ultimate for my new 5th wheel at 17k. I already have firestone air bags on my 2008 Chevy Silverado 3500HD. I think my best option is the gooseneck underbed system. Will the Curtis or BandW system work with my airbag system that I need to maintain for my camper? Thank you for your help.

Yes, an underbed gooseneck hitch like the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1067 will work with the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2250 you have on your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. However, the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # AM3200 will not work the underbed gooseneck hitch.
The only 5th wheel hitch we have that will work with the B&W Turnoverball is the B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3500. With that being said the Turnoverball and Companion is one of the best, if not the best gooseneck and 5th wheel hitch on the market.
I have attached a review video of each hitch for you as well.
