Max Roof Vent Cover Opening for RVs

my roof vent on my 2017 35i5 silverback open to 12inch high, I cannot seem to find a vent cover that opens that tall?

I spoke to my contact at MaxxAir and they informed me that they do not make a vent cover that will allow a roof vent to open the full 12". They were also unaware of another manufacture who does as the 10" height of most roof vent covers is more or less an industry standard.

I recommend using the MaxxAir II RV and Enclosed Trailer Roof Vent Cover part # MA76JR for white or part # MA00-955003 for smoke. This roof vent cover will allow for you to open the vent about 10" which again will be the max for most vent covers. If the vent on your RV is electric it will most likely have a pressure sensor which will stop the cover from opening all the way.
