Can You Add A Strut Assist To MORryde Steps That Do Not Currently Have The Feature

Question:

We have the MORryde 4 step with handrail - and a camper door with of 29 inches. All works great, but we would like to install the Assist struts to this setup. What options do we have to add this feature? This is a new camper, bought last year from Cougar 316RLS - so we dont want to replace the step - just add the struts.

Though I do have a solution for you, however there isn't a kit that will allow you to convert your MORryde steps to strut assisted steps.

The only option that we would have for you is to replace your steps with steps that already have the strut assist feature like The MORryde StepAbove RV Steps With Strut Assist # MR45RR.
