Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2015 Ram with Factory Rail Kit
Question:
Getting ready to purchase a 2018 Jayco Eagle 30.5MLOK fifth wheel trailer with the new MORryde Orbital Pin Box. The trailer has gross weight rating of 10,130 lbs. I need a fifth wheel hitch that will fit the factory prep package in my 2015 Ram 2500 crew cab short wheelbase. Looking for a fifth wheel hitch that will fit in the factory prep pucks. I have read, with the MORryde orbital I do not need a slider hitch?

The MORyde Orbital pin box is designed to give you turning clearance on a short bed truck without requiring you to use a slider hitch.
So for a fifth wheel hitch a fixed hitch like the B and Companion # BWRVK3600 would be your best option. The Companion hitches are considered by most of the RVers out there as the best hitch. This hitch fits specifically to the factory rail kit of your 2015 Ram 2500. I attached an install video for this hitch on a similar 2015 Ram like yours as well.
