Does Taskmaster Steel Modular Trailer Wheel PVD Black Finish Look Like Chrome

Question:

I am having a boat trailer built, and they are letting me supply my own wheels and tires, which I plan on purchasing from e-trailer. They use Chrome Modular Wheels with rivets. I dont want the rivets, nor do I want the Goodyear Tires. I dont know who the wheel manufacturer is, or what the Center Pilot Hole Size is. The 2 Modular Wheels I am considering, have the same specs, except for a slight difference in Capacity, and a slight difference in the Center Pilot Hole Size. One is 3.27inch and the other is 3.30inch Diameter. I am wondering if the Chrome Modular Wheels the trailer company uses, has yet another slight difference in their Center Pilot Hole Size. Are these slight differences in Pilot Hole Sizes, something I should be concerned about, in making my decision? Also, how much like Real Chrome, does the Taskmaster - PVD Black Finished wheels look like? If you cant tell the difference, I will seriously think about PVD Silver. Otherwise, I am going to special order in the Dexstar Chrome Modular Wheels, that Katie gave me a price on. I look forward to hearing from you.

For trailer wheels that attach with lug nuts and not flange nuts or wheel bolts the pilot diameter does not really matter. It just needs to be big enough to fit over the center portion of the hub that sticks through the wheel.

The Black PVD of the Taskmaster wheel part # 460545MBPVD that you referenced is very close to chrome in appearance. Most people would just assume it's black chrome. If you check out the review video I attached for this wheel you can see our demo guy moving the wheel around and the light reflects just like chrome.
