Spare Tire Carrier Recommendations for a Loadmaster Tampa Dual Axle Trailer

Question:

I have an aluminum Loadmaster Tampa dual axle trailer. I would like to buy 2 spare tire carriers maybe one with the ability to carry the full spindle/hub assemply. Can you tell which of your products would work? The tongue area is pretty short, so the attachment point would need to be over the aluminum part of the tongue. Thanks

Out of the spare tire carriers we have, I am sure that we will be able to find one that will hold the spare tires on your trailer. I have incldued a link to all of the options for you to view. Besides the space where you can mount a spare tire carrier or carriers, you will also need to make sure that the wheels have a compatible bolt pattern.

For example, the Offset Trailer Spare Tire Carrier, # DL22120, is designed for 9 to 14 inch wheels with 4 or 5 lugs, bolt circles up to 5-on-4-1/2. It will fit on trailer frames that are up to 3 inches wide and 5 inches tall.

For 15 inch wheels, there are other options. The Hi-Mount Trailer Spare Tire Carrier, # STC7564, will work for wheels up to 40 pounds and trailer frames that are up to 3 inches wide and 4 inches tall, but will not work on 5 on 4-3/4, 5 on 5, or 5 on 5-1/2 bolt patterns.

The Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier - Fits 5, 6, and 8-Lug Wheels, # FHDSTC0101, will work with wheels up to 16-1/2 inches and up to 3 by 5 inch frames, but will not work with wheels that have a 5 on 5 bolt pattern.

None of the carriers are designed to hold a complete tire and wheel with the hub and spindle attached. Instead they are designed to hold just the wheel and tire.
