Curt Discovery Brake Controller Display Flashes with Left Turn Signal
Question:
I have the curt discovery installed on my truck and when the left turn signal is on the trailer brake display flashes but not when the right is on. Could that be a wiring issue.

It could be a wiring issue. Specifically, it is likely related to the brake controller red wire. If that wire is not attached to the correct circuit, it can cause some strange things to happen. The red wire needs to be connected to a brake switch wire that only has power when the brake pedal is pressed.
If that same wire has power, then the headlights or a turn signal are on then it is not the correct wire. I have heard that the correct brake switch wire is the white wire so use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 or a meter if you have one to test that wire first.
