Bumper Mounted Hitch That Will Work With Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier

Question:

I just purchase the Roadmaster Spare Tire Mount RM-195225. My 2014 Thor ACE 29.2 motorhome has a 4inch bumper and I am thinking about purchasing the RV trailer hitch clamp-on receiver # S64025. Will this hold my RM Spare Tire Mount securely with a tire? I also purchased an anti-rattle clamp.

There is a hitch that will work for you, but the Bumper Hitch Receiver # S64025 that you referenced is for use with bike racks and would not be a fit for your new Roadmaster Spare Tire Mount RM-195225. Instead, I recommend the Ultra-Fab # UF35-946402 which is a 2" trailer hitch receiver that clamps onto 4" x 4" square bumpers and has a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs, which should be well within the range of the Spare Tire Mount and spare tire.
