Hello Im interested in Curt Hitch mounted spare tire carrier, My quistion is there a weight limit I have 36 inch tires with stock h2 rims?

I spoke with my contact at Curt Manufacturing about Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier, # c31006. He stated that it will hold your spare provided that the trailer hitch on the front of your vehicle is also capable of supporting the combined weight of the spare and the carrier.

He stated that basically the weight capacity of the carrier is whatever the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch is.
