Recommended 2018 Ram 2500 Factory Rail System Puck Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Hitch

Good afternoon. We just bought a 2018 ram 2500 mega cab 6.5 bed with factory tow package, bucks. We have a 2013 coachman chaperral with engineered front cap for short bed truck corners are cut. From our Chevy we just traded in we still have our pull rite slider. From what I can find I cant use the pull rite on our 2018 ram, but to be honest that hitch makes a lot of noise so im ok with getting rid of it. we are looking at the Anderson Ultimate Connection but cant find one to fit our buck system. Is there one and have you had any problem with others that have the same setup as me? I really don’t care for a slider as our camper is set up for a short bed. Thank you in advance

For your 2018 Ram 2500 6.5 bed with factory puck system, I recommend the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 25,000 lbs # DM6099 to give you the bed rails needed to use the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System with Adapter - 20,000 lbs # AM3200 which weighs just 55 lbs and will give you a 9 inch offset to give you a little more turning clearance for your Coachman already designed to assist with that as well. This setup will work very well for you since you want the lightweight non-sliding hitch and this will give you the adapter needed to use any industry standard 5th wheel hitch with your factory rail kit puck system.
I also recommend the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long # C56070 to allow you a second 7-way connection in the bed of your truck for easy access and a cleaner connection.
