Weight of B&W Companion OEM Hitch # BWRVK3670 and Curt A16 with Adapter for 2017 Ram 2500
Question:
What does the Companion slider hitch BWRVK3670 weigh vs. the Curt A16 with R16 slider and Ram puck system adaptor rails? My truck is a short bed Ram with OEM puck system installed. Just trying to get an idea of total weight for each hitch.

The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3670, which is confirmed to fit your Ram 2500 with the factory rail kit, has a total weight of right around 304 pounds. Keep in mind that the head is easily removable so you do not need to lift the entire unit at once when removing the hitch.
The Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider # C16521 weighs 193 pounds and the Adapter Rails # C16022 that will mount to the factory pucks weigh 84 pounds. This will give you a combined weight of around 277 pounds for the system.
