Recommended Trailer Brake Controller and Wiring for 1995 Ford Bronco
Question:
I have a 1995 Ford Bronco. DO you know if these vehicles are factory wired for trailer brakes? I know the newer fords have a plug under the dash for the controllers. What are the options for the Bronco? Thanks

As long as your 1995 has the factory 7-Way connector at the rear of the vehicle, it will have the necessary brake controller connection under the dash and all the wires will have already been ran.
For the trailer brake controller itself, I highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885. This is a great, proportional controller that will activate the trailer's brakes at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to them in your Bronco. It features an easy-to-read digital display and continuous diagnostics that will alert you to any potential issues.
To install the brake controller on your vehicle, you will just need the Plug-In Adapter # 3035-P. This custom adapter, which is confirmed to fit your 1995 Ford Bronco, installs by connecting directly to the brake controller on one end and to the built-in harness beneath the dash of your Bronco at the other end.
I have attached the written installation instructions that you can also take a look at.
