Replacement Hub and Drum and Brake Assemblies for a 1973 Miley Horse Trailer

Question:

I have a 5on43/4 hub. The inner bearing/race/seal is the same. The outer measures .860 on the spindle and .863 bearing. Current outer bearing is LM12749. Fits a 1973 Miley horse trailer. Need to replace hubs, and brake asemblies.

Outer Bearing # LM-12749, inner diameter 0.8656 inches, works with the Race # LM-12711 which has an outer diameter of 1.81 inches. You should measure the outer dimension of your race to be sure that the LM-12711 race is correct. There is a possibility that other race part numbers could also work with the LM-12749 bearing and have a slightly different outer diameter. The LM-12711 is the most commonly used race for this bearing though.

I checked with our suppliers and at this time, we do not offer a hub with a outer bearing that will match the outer bearing dimension on your trailer spindle.

For Brake assemblies we will need to know the diameter of your existing assembly, the width of the existing shoes, and the bolt pattern of the brake mounting flange on the axle to determine the correct replacement brakes for you.
