Availability of 41 Inch Long Hitch Extension for 2017 Ford F-350
Question:
Explain wt distribution to rear axle for hitch Ext . I have a 2017 f350 dually. Wt distribution of 21000 lbs. max tongue wt 2100 lbs. I also have a 1160 eagle cap slide in camper. The camper weighs 5000 lbs. I need a 41 inch extension what tow capacity does that give me .

For a 41 inch long hitch extension that fits 2-1/2 inch hitches like what your 2017 Ford F-350 has we have the part # RP45018 which has a 5,000 lb capacity when not used with a weight distribution system when cut down to 41 inches.
When you use an extension like this you cut the capacity of the trailer hitch it is installed in by 50 percent which wouldn't be a problem for you.
