Tekonsha Wiring Harness 118253 Installation
Question:
Im guessing I worded my original question incorrectly. My 2010 Ridgeline has the 7 wire connector at the drivers side rear on the factory harness, it has the plug under the dash attached to the factory wiring harness for the electric brake controller. I cannot locate the plug where part # 16506218 D is supposed to go. Ive attached a image of the part which was in kit 118253. Is there a plug that I have to disconnect from a factory device found above the steering column? I dont know if the next information is helpful but the Ridgeline which I purchased from the dealer used already had the two inch receiver present. I hope those two attached images are helpful

The small black box labeled 16506218 D that was included in your wiring kit # 118253 will be installed behind the driver-side dashboard cover. It will connect to a rectangular grey plug like the one shown in the photo provided. This plug and wiring may be tucked up out of the way and could be taped to other components. It should be to the right side of the steering shaft. These are often well-hidden.
The relay block should be located to the left of the steering column. You will need to pry off the relay block from its mount in order to gain access for installed the two included relays.
The five fuses will install under the hood in the fuse box on the driver's side near the firewall.
Finally, locate the grey housing under the rear bumper on the driver's side. Remove the cap that protects the connector contacts and install the 7-way harness' grey plug.
