Will Hitch Adapter 1-1/4
Question:
I was wondering if this adapter will fit on my 2012 Mazda 3 Curt Rack?

Expert Reply:
If you have a Class I or II 1-1/4 inch hitch installed on your 2012 Mazda 3 like the Curt # C11383 the hitch adapter part # HT5R will fit it and work.
You should note though that when you use a hitch adapter like this you cut the capacity of the hitch it is installed in by 50 percent. So you'd only have a 100 lb tongue weight capacity.
This has a distance of 3-1/2 inches from it's pin hole to the back of the larger hitch tube. You'd need to measure your bumper to hitch pin to make sure it will clear.
