How To Determine the Weight Capacity For a Trailer Axle with Spindle Dimensions that Match 42

I have a 1961 Ziemna flat bed trailer it has 2 two 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 i square axles out side hub face to out side hub face is 73 1/2 in the in side bearing is a 25577 in side ID 1.75 in the out side bearing is 15125 in side ID 1.25 in the hub is a 6 on 5 1/2 1/2 lug studs the tire is 8 - 14.5 LT the spring is 26 in eye to eye 5 leafs that are maid 2 in wide x 1/4 in thick the square ael do not have a tag or plte on the so if u can help me determine its capacity for it

A trailer as old as yours would be pretty hard to determine an overall capacity for, but since you have 6 lug hubs that would indicate by todays standards you have a capacity most likely between 5,200 and 6k which matches pretty close to the spindle dimensions you listed as well.

The spindle dimensions match the 42 spindle like the part # TRU37FR which has a 5,200 lb capacity.
