SuperSpringsRear Suspension Enhancement on a 2011 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500

Question:

I have a class C style RV built on a 2011 MB Sprinter 3500 cutaway chassis. I am looking for a product that will raise the rear ride height of the RV while not making the ride more harsh. I have tried the Timbren bump stops which raised the back slightly but also made the ride much too harsh. I removed them due to this. I am looking at the Supersprings but want to be sure they will do what I want before spending more money. Not trying to increase carrying capacity, just want to raise the rear ride height a few inches. Thanks

Any suspension enhancement that you add to your 2011 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 wouldn't necessarily add height to your RV, but it would help to keep it level when under a load and would also help create a more comfortable ride.

The SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs # SSR-336-47-1 are a great option to add to your Sprinter for suspension enhancement. They have a 2,200-lb weight capacity at 50% compression (they will not raise the weight capacity of your Sprinter) and they are connected to your Sprinter at the top and bottom to provide support even when your Sprinter doesn't have a load. They are designed to work with motorhomes but will not fit on models that had a 2" lift block between the axle and spring pack, or that have the headlight leveling sensor.

If either of those situations apply to you then you will instead want to use the Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-338-47 which replace your factory bump stops.

All of the SuperSprings products are designed to make your ride a little more smooth and to help support a suspension system that is in good-working order.
