When choosing a weight distribution system, you will want one that has a tongue weight capacity range that encompasses the trailer tongue weight when it is loaded and ready to tow. For a tongue weight of 325 pounds, I recommend going with a system with a range of 200 to 600 pounds.

All of our weight distribution systems can be used with shanks in the rise or drop position, so we will be able to find one with the appropriate rise for your Chrysler Pacifica. I recommend the Fastway E2 Round Bar Weight Distribution Kit with Shank, # FA94-00-0600. The included shank can offer a rise up to 6 inches. The inch that will be lost should not adversely affect ride quality.

The snap up brackets from which the spring bars hang attach to the side and top of the trailer frame. If your jack is directly behind the coupler and is not attached to the left or right frame rails, it will not interfere with this system. If it is mounted in a location that will interfere with the snap up brackets, you can use Chain Hangers, # RP58305, in place of the brackets as long as the trailer frame is no wider than 2-1/4 inches.

You will also need a compatible ball like # 19286 (2-5/16 inch diameter) or # A-90 (2 inch diameter. I have also included a link to our weight distribution FAQ article for you to view.
