When you say your trailer lights are 3 wire am I correct to assume youre not counting the ground wire?

Our three wire lights like what the harness part # A47PB is designed to fit have the white wire as ground, the black wire for tail light, and the red wire for stop/turn signal. That covers all of the standard trailer taillight functions.
