Supplemental Braking System That Operates Off of Motorhome Air Brakes
Question:
I saw a air operated system for flat towing a pickup that used the coach air, and the towed truck had an air operated system using an air connection from the coach. Neat thing was there was no operating assemblies inside the cab of the towed truck. It appeared // he told me, the only modification to the trucks brakes was adding an air operated unit in line with the master cylinder and vaccume assist modual. there was no electrical. Problem, I forgot the MFG of it. U aany idea what this was ???????/

It sounds like you are describing the Roadmaster BrakeMaster Braking System for RVs w/ Air or Air Over Hydraulic Brakes # RM-9060. It operates the brakes in your towed vehicle proportionally with the air brakes from your RV. It will press the brake pedal at the same time and with the same intensity as you do in your RV.
It also comes with an LED display that mounts in your motorhome so you know exactly when the brake pedal on your towed vehicle is being pressed. You will need to use a custom seat bracket (let me know your year/make/model of towed vehicle) or the universal floor plate # 450650-01 to for easy installation and removal when not in use.
The Breakaway System # RM-8600 is sold separately as well and is required for safe operation.
You will need to install and uninstall it every time you go to use it, but it doesn't use electricity and it feeds off of the air brake system on your motorhome like you mentioned.
If you do not already have a complete flat towing setup let me know the year/make/model of your vehicle and I can make some recommendations for you.
