Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at our Hollywood Racks replacement, mast support, brace and knob for your Hollywood Racks bike racks right here at etrailer. Now, when you use your bike rack, you have your bikes on there, you're going through dirt, you're going through mud, wear and tear happens. It's normal. So what might happen is maybe you have parts that go missing get damaged and need replacement.

So here's the parts included with your replacement kit. You're gonna have this brace which is gonna hold up your mast. You're gonna have two different types of bolts, two flat washers, a nut, another cab nut, and then the knob to replace this knob right over here. And so if you're looking for other parts those are gonna be a separate kit. The tools needed to make this replacement is gonna be a 10 millimeter wrench as well as a four millimeter Allen wrench.

So the Allen wrench is gonna be for your buttonhead bolt here and then your 10 millimeters can be for the nuts behind it. So if these parts are damaged just use your tools to loosen the bolt. That way you can remove the entire mast. So for your top knob, once that's loose you can actually then just remove the brace itself. But if you want to replace the entire thing just loosen this until the knob comes off completely.

Then you can take that bolt out. Here we can compare the old bolts with the new replacement parts. So our old carriage bolt is actually shorter. And you can see that the threads have kind of stripped after wear and tear. And then the new one is gonna be longer and a lot newer.

So just like how you took off your old hardware, do that in reverse with your brand new hardware and just like that you would have replaced the mast and support brace for your Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack. So we've had this bike rack now for, I'd like to say a couple of years and it has gone through some wear and tear, still definitely works but it's nice to know that if you need to replace any of your small bolts or parts you have the exact replacement parts right here.
