Does Draw Tite Hitch for 2017 BMW X5 Affect Back Up Sensors
Question:
Does the trailer hitch installation process adjust the software which recognizes an object behind the car, so it wont set off the warning beeps constantly? In late June I bought a BMW X5d and stupidly didnt have the factory install the hitch you can kick me now as I bend over so Im looking at getting one installed soon. Any thoughts?

For your 2017 BMW X5d the Draw Tite hitch part # 75600 is a confirmed fit. It does not come with any way to adjust back up sensor sensitivity but with just the hitch you wouldn't hear them go off.
It would take having a trailer or bike rack back there for the sensors to start going off.
Only BMW would be able to take care of that scenario. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.
