Does Titan BrakeRite SD Adapter Have to Be Removed when Used with Truck that Doesn't Need It

Titan BrakeRite SD Adapter for Ford/Chevy Integral Brake Controller, I will be using different years trucks to pull can this stay in for my older 1997 truck or do i plug it in and out per truck being used?

You could leave the adapter part # T4845900 installed in your BrakeRite all the times. It would not negatively affect braking performance when used on a setup that it's not needed.
